Hi!!

I'm spanish, sorry if my english is bad :p

My uncle has an multiple sclerosis illness, the type of sclerosis is one of the worst because he only can talk.

In the first stage I only want to implement basic things for example switch on off the lights and blinds.

Another issue is that appliances need and where to buy them.

Your request is not in the Good place in that forum. In Stories people presents their solution. Please read more thar forum perhaps you can find some answers before to post anything anywhere.

Which kind of Protocol do you want to use ?

I had thought Z-Wave. It's ok?

Personnaly I am using ZWave so. It's have a lot of constructor and it's bi directional transmission.
But cheaper chipset are ZigBee actually.
I don't think it's supported by HG

Yes I am using that one http://www.zwavespain.com/controles/adaptador-aeon (http://www.zwavespain.com/controles/adaptador-aeon) as controller
with raspberry pi B+ and HG.

For equipements your reseller is ok. I am not staying in Spain. But not difficult to find many shop from internet. The price are similar. I saw that is spain is a little cheaper. For us the mean prices are 59€90.
