Try as I might, I can't get my 2GIG CT30 thermostat to work with HomeGenie.  It worked great with HomeSeer, so I know it's not the thermostat.  I really like HomeGenie, so instead of going back, I've decided to buy a new thermostat?

My home is a single zone, hot water baseboard boiler, no AC.

What thermostats are proven to work with HomeGenie?

Thanks for your help.

Cheers,
Mike

As it have time, I am working on connecting a 2GIG-GCX Control Panel. I am stuck with the Control Panel, because it is the one used by my security service.

The approach is to use the 2GIG as a secondary zwave controller to a Z-Stick 2, which is connected to HomeGenie running on a Raspberry PI.

That approach mite also work with your thermostat.

Good luck

I was going to complete a write up on my setup now that I have it working, so this has prompted me.

My system contains two thermostats; Secure SRT 321 and a single boiler control unit; Secure SSR 302, this controls the heating and hot water. All linked using an Aeon Labs Z-Stick 2.

Z-Wave Thermostat Poll is set to 360 seconds. The wake up interval is set to 720 on each of the thermostats. With this setup I can control the heating set points with HG and get realistic temperature readings.

I'm very happy with the way it works and the battery usage so far.

I Hope that helps someone else trying to get thermostats working.

Cheers,

Garry
