I recently upgraded HG to 525 from 522 on an RPi system. I am now seeing a memory leak that causes a daily crash of HG with the application consuming >80% of memory within 24 hours of restart while it starts out at about 20% when first started. Previous versions ran for weeks without a problem.

Same with me.  Program ran without a problem for a few days and then was hung requiring a restart.  In the log directory I found a homegenie.log.bak with no homegenie.log.

Also update manager fails.  I am on a Raspberry PI running 535.  Attached Video.

Are you sure this is a HG bug and not an app that you are running?  I recall that there was a memory leak around a year ago that someone was working on that may have been related to a custom program.  I don't recall the resolution but it might be worth a search to verify it's not something similar.

I reverted to version 522 and the problem went away so this is definitely a HG issue.

Why 522 and not 523 ?  I just reverted to 523 to see if the problem goes away.

I appear to also be having the same issue on an RPi2 running v 525.  It also occurred on an RPi B and a B+.

A log check shows no information about the abnormal program termination.
