Title: MIG or in product program?

I want to be able to use the thermostat widget with my WiFi enabled thermostat.

It has a RESTful API that I can use to read and control the thermostat.

I have been looking at the documentation and the forums but didn't see anything that definitively pointed one way or the other.

Should I make this "driver" using the MIG interface, or should I create a program within HomeGenie?
