Apologies if this is a noob question, but what value do I use for the COM port for the Alarm Panel program configuration?  The AD2USB is showing up as /dev/ttyUSB1.  The Alarm Panel program is asking for a COM port.  I've tried USB1 and COM1, but neither worked.  HomeGenie is running on Ubuntu Linux.

Do I need to do something additional to map the USB to COM port?  Any help is greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Mike

  • Things are only impossible until they are not
Type     /dev/ttyUSB1    in the comport configuration, this is what works for me.
