Title: HomeGenie on Ubuntu 14.04 not discovering modules
Post by: MoP342 on December 11, 2014, 01:34:10 PM
Hi all,

I'm using HG with an Aeon Labs Z-Stick2 controller. The controller shows up nicely in the list, so I can select it. If I try to associate my Fibaro Wall Plugs with it, though, it always fails. No nodes are found, ever.

Any idea what can cause this? I'm puzzled.

Thanks in advance!

Are you trying to create the association with HomeGenie or with the stick itself?

Through HomeGenie.

I have no experience with setting the association through HomeGenie, I created the association with the Z-stick itself. After associating with your devices, plug it into the computer and HomeGenie should be able to retrieve the devices from the stick.

That did the trick, thanks a lot.

I thought it was in auto-connect mode, but I had to press the B-button three times in order to have it connected. It works now!
