Looking into a new solution for our home audio and wondering if anyone has integrated their home audio into Homegenie?

If you mean music and whatnot, I think most have used XBMC or similar.

I wonder if someone found a cheaper alternative for Sonos?
I don't know if OSMC (=xbmc) is capable of playing music in one room and watching a movie (or other music) in another room.

I have installed a Logitech Media Server (LMS) in my home and playing the music through Squeezeboxes. With this system it's possible to play the same music in multiple rooms (synchronized), or listen to different music in every room. With LMS you can listen to internet radio (Sky.fm, TuneIn), Spotify, own mp3-files, and so on.

The actual server is running on one of my Raspberry Pi's. Then in every room I have a Raspberry pi that acts as a Squeezebox player, ie outputting the sound to a stereo.

It's then possible to control each player over HTTP, which means I can now control then within HomeGenie. (and Tasker on Android phone)
