Hi,

I'm in the process of moving HomeGenie over to a small Windows server, but I'm having problems with Importing the configuration into the Windows machine.

I've done the following:

- Maintenance -> Choose File... button
- Select the homegenie_backup.zip file
- Click 'Restore'
- The 'Select Automation Programs to Restore' dialog pops up and I Click Select All -> Restore

At this point I get the 'Please be patient, this may take some time...' dialog, but that's as far as it goes. I've waited for 30 minutes here. On the BananaPi it only took a few minutes, this machine is much faster so it should be just as quick if not quicker.

I've tried giving everyone full control of the HomeGenie Folder (and subfolders) to see if it was a file rights problem but that doesn't help.

Running v500, restoring a v498 file I think (it's definitely a HomeGenie 1.1 file)

Edit: Checked it properly. I'm running v500 on the new Windows server, and the Configuration file was made on a BananaPi also running v500

Well, it seems to be one of my test programs.

I've repeated the Restore config step a few times, with only a few Programs at a time. I've also skipped all my test/temporary stuff.

The 'Please be patient, this may take some time...' dialog is still taking forever, but I am seeing that the config xml files are being updated on the server.

I have been having this problem for past several versions of HG.  Sometimes it just works quickly.  Other times it doesn't work at all so I uninstall/re-install everything and try again.  Other times the import never finishes but I try HG anyway and it is working (I think  :o)
