this is link of a previous post and i want to do same thing as mention in it for it.i wnat to need something in detail.as i new to it i donot kniow how to use it
i think firstly i should install homegenie on my rpi and laptop.
than where and how to add wizard script??
how can i open my homegenie installed in my rpi.
how can i send command to raspberry pi to control my transmitter throughmy mobile
-
1) install HG
2) connect to that system with web browser
3) configure settings
4) control as desired
If you want to use scripting, you would go to the programs under the configuration menu. Install HG and this will all be quite apparent.

I AM HAVING THIS SCREEN TO CONFIGURE AS MY REMOTE IS NOT IN THE OPTION SO I WANT TO CAPTURE MY REMOTE.BUT WHEN I CLICK THAT IT SHOW WAITING FOR THE EVENTS.
PLEASE SUGGEST ANY WAY TO DEAL OR ANY SETTING CHANGE IS REQUIRED.??
I AM HAVING A LIRC FILE THATS WORKING WITH ME,HOW CAN I ADD THAT FILE.
-
I don't use Lirc or an IR remote in my setup.
-
than how can i pass what wave i want to send ???
as my remote file is not present in already present files

I would imagine Bkenobi is using his x10 CM15 as the transceiver on his HG server. I may be wrong here.
-
Yes, I only use X10 via a CM15A. I don't use IR at all. The only experience I have with LIRC is from a windows setup over a decade ago so I can't help at all.

Could you supply a little more detail about your laptop and what operating system you are using. What version of Raspbian are you using on the RPI. Have you got the latest updates installed including firmware updates. LIRC works fine in Ubuntu but depending on what remote and receiver you are using you may need to do a bit of manual tweaking.
For simplicity x10 compatible remotes work out of the box. I've an old ATI Remote Wonder which is 10 years old and it works perfectly with the CM15Pro. No need to plug in the USB receiver.
If your remote is not on the list you may have to carry out a bit more research in order to get it working on the RPI. Try installing HG on your laptop first. If it's running the windows operating system it may already have the correct drivers installed which should make life a little easier.

see this i want to do this:
MOBILE ------- LAPTOP -------- RPI
I WANT TO USE MY LAPTOP AS SERVER AND MY MOBILE AND RASPBERRY PI AS CLIENT FOR THAT.I WILL PLACE VARIOUS RPI IN MY HOME AND THEY ARE HAVING IR TRANSMITER SO I WANT TO USE RPI AS REMOTE FOR MY VARIOUS THINGS SUCH AS AC AND TV OF MY VARIOUS ROOMS.FOR THAT I WILL NEED TO TRANSMIOT VARIOUS IR SIGNALS,SO I WANT TO USE LIRC TO READ FIRST MY REMOTE SIGNALS AND THAN USE MY IR TRANSMITTER TO CONTROL ALL THIS.
BUT WHEN I CLICK CAPTURE BUTTON (THAT IS WITH THE CONDTIONS)IT DOES NOT WORK.
I AM ALSO NOT HAVING GPIO MODULE IN my homegenie when i tried to import the program i show two error so i am even not able to control my rpi pins.
errors:
1. Object reference not set to an instance of an object
2. at HomeGenie.Automation.ProgramEngine.EvaluateProgramCondition (System.Object evalArguments) [0x00000] in :0

I guess I am doing something similar, one hg box to receive and forward ir commands to another hg box where these commands are beeing sent as ir directly. commands can be used on both boxes for automation purposes.
Maybe these threads will help

You need to enable sensor forwarding to the ip adress of the other hg box, too, in automation progs
