Title: update notification

Is it possible to send myself an e-mail if there is an update available?

an update to HG?  Perhaps you could write a script for that, but I don't see any way to do that from within HG.  You can have sourceforge send you an email when the project has an update.

Well there is an orange Arrow right on top if there is an update, so in my simplicity I think it should be possible to use that for a pushnotification or e-mail.
(I never look at HG, once devices are included and set it is finished for me. I use HG as Home Automation and like it says all needs to be done automatic. But I don't want to miss an (important) update).

Me and writing scripts hmmm, it will take a while, a very long while.

I must have messed up with SF because I only receive a message when there is a update for windows not for Pi.
