Hi,

  Is it possible to add the Widget to the backup.

  I did a full reinstall and lost my personal widget, the script i created where in the backup but not the widget.

Instead this function is available, perhaps you can share you program and widget. Your package can be install again after a fresh install and is available for the community ;-)

It is my understanding that after a package is installed, it becomes part of the backup.  So, shouldn't the custom widget then be backed up as desired?
