What are correct settings for an Apexis IP Cam?

I have been trying to install an Apexis Ip Cam and cannot get it correct. The module shows up and I sometimes get the "red" eye but never any video or snapshot. If you could point me in the correct direction I would appreciate it.

I cannot see it locally on my network or by using No-ip on the web. I can see the camera with both using other programs.

Locally I input the correct internal address  ie 192.168.1.XXX:8081
I input the user name
As there is no password I leave that blank.

Are the settings the same for Apexis P2P  IP cams? I have both types.

Try connecting to the snapshot of your camera first with your browser to make sure it all works, for your cam it should look something like this:

http://IPADDRESS/snapshot.cgi?user=[USERNAME]&pwd=[PASSWORD]

Once, you've got a snapshot, just enter the complete working URL in the Camera image API URL field and leave the UserName and Password fields blank.
