Title: Raspberry Pi Wake On Lan
Post by: Joogie on February 27, 2014, 12:28:29 AM
I am running homegenie successfully on Raspberry Pi, which I can access remotely.
Would it be possible to use the Homegenie to ask the Raspberry Pi to send out a magic packet to wake up one of the pc's on my home network?

Hi Joogie,

I think You can use "Ping me at Home", this function will ping the address you have programed. Is it suffisant to wake up your PC ?

Cheers
Dani

Hi,
I think you need to launch command line on your raspberry, is it ?
Now for information, HG doesn't permit to launch command line, you can have a discussion on the subject here :

For example, ou need a process who run on HTTP or TCP which can be launch by HG.
