installation problem
my hg was not working properly so i deleted the hg.when i was tried to install it again,in last step it shows the following error:
gdebi error, file not found: homegenie-beta_1.1.r525_all.deb
please help

i fix this by downloading .deb file direcly from
https://github.com/genielabs/HomeGenie/releases/download/v1.1-beta.523/homegenie-beta_1.1.r523_all.deb
than i installed it but it does not work well.there are no gpio modules in it,morever when i add something to it.it i not reflecting in control.please help

RPi GPIO requires downloading the helper APP. Once downloaded, you need to set up the GPIO's you want to use as necessary. Make sure you compile and enable the program if it doesn't happen automatically after download.

what is helper app,i had also posted earlier in detail what i want to do i tried to work with all post but that does not help. please also post something that might be missing on it also.

Helper apps are just programs/scripts that provide additional functionality. You can write your own or use ones other people have written. Gene has quite a few that used to be bundled into the HG installer but has now separated into their own store. This makes the installer smaller and allows the user to pick which features they want to use rather than forcing everyone to install everything.

Basically you need to go into the HG web interface, navigate to the app download, select the app(s) you require, download and install. Once installed, it should have compiled but I'd check to be sure.
