Hi,

I added a USB drive to my raspberry and expose that via samba onto my internal network. This allows me to easily copy files from and to the RPI.

I would like to store the homegenie.log file there as well such that I can just open it from my windows laptop.

What is the best way to do so?

Cheers
Pim

The easiest thing to do is to create a symbolic link to a path on the stick that replaces /usr/local/bin/homegenie/log.  This is how I moved my homegenie.log and other log files to a drive on my file server.
