So ... I was wondering if the android app could be adjusted to cache your modules, and only refresh from the HG server if request to do so by the user.
This would speed up loading times considerably ... what do you think?
Maybe the app could have a red/green 'led' which shows you it's connected to the server ... but not read the modules every time it loads.
