So I am having an issue with the HG and sometimes the PI becoming unresponsive. I have already shut of UPnP and the Camera modules and am only running the Zwave module. I need to dig deeper, but was curious if anyone had any ideas for what to look for.
Thanks

I've had this problem a few times when my SD card was slowly getting corrupted, HomeGenie would sometimes not react to commands properly, and eventually I couldn't reboot the PI anymore.
Not sure if that's the case for you, but you can check the following just in case:
- Make sure that you're power supply to the Pi is sufficient. (minimum of 1000 mA if I remember correctly.)
- Also, make sure you have a good quality SD card.

About the UPNP issue, if you simply disable it without then restarting HG, the issue will still occur. HG must be started with UPNP already disabled in order to prevent this known issue.

I will look at getting a new SD card. The one I am using has been around for a while.
I did reboot after turning off UPnP
I have used a 7 port hub and a 2.1a power supply and it has happened on both.

Hello, I had the same issue on the pi. Now without upnp it is very stable... Gene, what is the problem with upnp, and is there an idea when and if it will be fixed...I, and I guess not only me, would love to see it working.
Cheers and happy new year!

LadyShappy,
if you believe it's an sd card issue, verify it first by running fsck on it.
