Title: Homegenie v1.1 rc515
Post by: petediscrete on March 29, 2016, 09:07:52 PM
I downgraded from rc514 to rc512 owing to stability issues a few weeks ago. I just noticed that rc515 is on download now. Has anyone got rc515 in use at the moment. Is it any more stable than rc514.

That's good to hear. I'm using HG on a RPI mainly with x10 and 4 webcams with email alarm notification. Upgraded to rc514 and started to experience difficulties with all three and resolved the issues by downgrading to rc512. Might try and upgrade to rc515 to see if my stability issues have been resolved.

I'm on r514 with no issues (X10, email notification, no web cams).  I did notice issues creating new programs, but I haven't had to do that in a while so no issue.

Just updated from rc512 to rc515. So far so good. Feels a lot more stable than rc514. Again I'm using it on an RPI 2 so I've still a bit of testing to do. X10 working ok. Email notification ok. CSI camera module ok. Still need to check wireless webcams using Generic IP Camera module. Will report back with results.

Anyone using zwave successfully with 515?  I've been on 505 for a while, wondering if 515 will make some improvements in my zwave troubles (intermittent long delays).

Hi,
I only have some delay at startup (only on set command level to device but not on receive) , therefore I saw that only twice because I didn't restart often...
Bye

I'm having major problems in rc515 on Windows.
When I leave the browser open with HG and my computer goes to sleep, then when I come back it won't resume updating the page automatically. I then try to refresh the browser and it goes totally unresponsive. I restart the browser and after some time it again loads the dashboard.
Same thing both on Chrome and FF, and I think not only after sleep, overall slow to initially browse to and F5-refresh.
