What is the difference between these two modes ?

Is a timetable not the same as using cron-expressions in a scheduled-mode of a device?

To figure out the function of a timetable I created a group and put a timetable and a switch into this group,
because I guess the timetable relates to the devices within this group. Is this true?
But nothing happens.
I can't get the timetable to work ? To which devices the timetable relates to ?

And another practical problem:
For testpurposes I created a timeslot of 5minutes in a timetable.
Now the bar in the timetable is so small that it's not possible to edit this event using the mouse.
How can I remove such an event?

The timetable is basically the same functionality, but provides a visual representation that may be easier to use.  There may be some subtle differences that you may benefit from (you can build holidays, work days, etc with the timetable), however there are ways to make this work with the scheduled events too if you prefer that approach.

Thank you for your explanation.
And which devices will be effected by a timetable ?
All devices within a group or can I point to a specific device ?

You have to check TimeTable Option and define which timetable for calendar day type in each device you want to use TimeTable.
I have defined that function with Gene. If you any more question ?

Cheers

Now the timetable works  :)
Thank you!

Summary (for all who have the same problem)
1. Activate the function 'timetable' in the device you want to switch.
2. In the input fields for for the days just input the number of the timetable you want to use.
    There are 10 timetables available.
3. Activate the timetable checkbox.

4. Edit the timetable. Be  sure to select the right timetable number.
5. And Voila, all works fine.
