I have Homegenie running on Ubuntu 14.04.

I have Lenovo MCE USB remote on USB.  IRW on that box shows the button presses.

Using the instructions at
http://www.homegenie.it/docs/remotes.php

I am unable to get it to capture.

I go to Start:Settings:LIRC Infrared Remotes, add remote, mceusb.lircd.conf.mceusb

Then
Configure:Programs: Select a group, Actions, Add New Program, enter name, Trigger Code: Add Condition: Programs: 73 (IR/RF remote control events forwarding): Program Status, Equals

In any case I get to Capture, and nothing. IRW is registring button pushes.

I'm not even sure I am going to right place to enter this.

I want a IR Remote to turn on lights.

bump.  Anyone?  As much as the Android app is helpful, I really need IR remote, or for that matter, any dedicated remote, to control HomeGenie.
