I have been having issues updating past version 466.  There is an error and then it says installing and then I stay at version 466.  I have tried manually applying the updates which works but then gets rid of all my scripts.  I have also tried uninstalling and then installing the latest version and restoring an HG backup.  The Backup also will never finish restoring (Even after hours) it just sits there.  I am wondering if I could have a program that has a conflicting ID number with something that was in the 474 update?

I'm seeing something similar. I'm at r476. I see an error by the download operation, but then the files for r478 are decompressed and installed. However, once HG restarts itself, it is still showing r476 in "About", and the downwards arrow in the top right corner is lit, indicating that there is an update available. No matter how many times I repeat the process, the update does not install itself correctly.

Yeah that is the exact symptoms mine displays.  I have tried manually downloading and applying the update which works but none of my programs come over.  I am wondering if one of my programs is in conflict with one that is in the update?  My backups will not restore to the newer versions either which is the final thing that makes me think there is a conflict.

Exactly the same for me.  Updating through the web interface is not successful.  The log shows:

Code: [Select]
*=ERROR: [file address on SourceForge]
*=DECOMPRESSING: [file address on SourceForge]
*=DOWNLOADING: [file address on SourceForge]

With the top line, of course, being the most recent.  So it's downloading and unzipping, and there is some error with applying it.  Indeed, I can go into the directory and manually unzip the files to the HG directory myself to apply the update, but doing so means losing my programs.
