What version did you update from. The update option in HG can be a it flaky at times.

The most reliable way to update is to do so manually. Back up your current settings. Remove all traces of Homegenie from your current installation. Download the current version from the HG website. Install it and restore your backup via the Restore option in the Homegenie application.

Search the forum and you'll find all of this well documented.

I haven't had an issue with the update feature in a while, but it has had problems a couple times for me.  If you performed the update from v1.0, then it will only update to the latest 1.0 release which may very well be 493 (sounds about right).  If you manually update to 1.1 then the update should give you notices for any new versions again.

Hi all and thx for your reply,

I try to update from 1.0 B493 to 1.1 B525.
I try it manually on the RPI but without uninstalling the 493 version.
I'll try pete's version, uninstall and fresh install.

Best regards

It sounds like you already tried to install 1.1 over 1.0.  That should work, but if I were doing it, I would uninstall HG 1.0, delete the directory, and then install a fresh copy.  Before you do anything, make a backup or two just to be sure you won't lose your settings.  The difference between 1.0 and 1.1 is pretty significant in appearance, but the settings should be near identical.
