On a raspberry pi 2, I have a problem with HG.
The Event stream always disconnect when Event append.
I've try with HG 496, HG497 and HG498 and it's the same for all.

In the new HG498, we could see a log, this is a part of this file :
Code: [Select]

This log eppend when I play with the alarm widget. Most of the time, I click and the popup "Homegenie Event Stream Connect" appear and nothing else.
It seems that it's du to the error GET   200 /events [ERROR: Input string was not in the correct format]" but I don't know how to correct it?

Note that in HG496, the error appear just after the installation and a restart of the pi solve the problem but in HG497 and HG498, the error always append.

I Think I've found the cause of the problem.
I'm a french so I put my rasbperry in this langage.

To test, I've put my rapsberry in english and reboot it. After that, the error disappear and HG seems to works correctly.

So it's not a critical bug but if you have some time to investigate on it, it would be good.

Thanks. (note that it's probalby caused by the decimal separator I think)

I have this issue and have performed a full uninstall as suggested.  The only thing I have not done is delete the HG directory though it is empty (except for my log folder).  If I delete everything that HG installs, why would I need to delete the root directory?  I can do it, but I'd have to set up my log path again.  It's linked to my Windows machine, so I'd rather not do that though it's not a huge issue I suppose.  Just curious why removing that folder when it's empty seems to make a difference.

Sorry I haven't test the solution of @dani  :-[ because set the language of my raspberry OS to english solve the problem for me.
I will try it as soon as I need to put it in french again.

I only see the disconnect message when I first connect to the Web GUI or when I've restarted HG from another interface (console, a different browser, etc).  It's not a big issue for me, so no worries.  I was just adding that I noticed this in case another point was needed for tracking.
