Well,
As HomeGenie.exe was using one version of ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib.dll during compilation, it was unable to work correctly with the new version I posted earlier in this topic.
Right solution is to recompile all HG binaries using new library. For now you can try to use HomeGenie.exe from attach (don't forget to make a backup of replaced files).

OK, that worked.... until the next RC.

Perhaps Gene is cranking out these releases too quickly.  It could use some serious regression testing.

Jeez, I don't want to go through all this again.

Well, I'm glad that your installation of HG is working now.

I don't think that Gene performs any regression testing now, as the project is big enough and is targeting to multiple platforms.
