Not sure if this has come up, I did a search and didn't see anything specifically for this Aeotec switch/meter. So figured I'd ask the question.
I noticed that the wattage returned from the unit, once I turn the switch off remotely, goes back to some last state and sits there... This obviously negates any use of the power meter for monitoring and whatnot, since I have this particular switch on a schedule to shut off at night and back on in the morning (the cat water fountain is particularly annoying at night.)
I wrote a little automation script to log the data externally, here's what I'm seeing, it's an on-off-on cycle. Data is captured every 15 seconds, I just trimmed it down for the post...
