I have several ZWave switches I am currently using via three Aeon Labs mini motes just fine.

I installed the latest HG on Win10 and have an Aeon Labs Z-Stick in the USB port. I enabled the ZWave interface, selected COM3 as the device port, then did Discovery and got lots of msgs about updating nodes 4,10,15,19,21,22,16,29 and for Node 7 several msgs relating to the the Node version. What did that actually do? It would be nice if I could copy and past that output here.

So what do I do next? The doc says nothing about working with ZWave beyond enabling it, and I see nothing on Groups and Modules for ZWave. All I see are what look like some pre-defined devices for energy monitoring, security, and Hue lights none of which I have.

Is there any general tutorial on using HG with ZWave devices? It was not as easy as 1,2,3 for me and I'm C# a software developer.

Can I use HG with the Z-Stick and also continue to use my mini motes? How?

Thanks, Dave

I've been using HG for over a year but just got zwave couple weeks ago.

now that HG has discovered your devices. go into config, groups, dashboard. then on the bottom action menu, add module, scroll through the list and you should see your zwave devices. as you add each you can hit setup to configure zwave parameters.  my switches have worked pretty well with zstick gen5. getting the battery / sensor devices has been more problematic even though I try to wake them up.

I don't have minimote yet so can't help there.
