Been having a grand old time playing with HomeGenie, but suddenly realized -- I've been using it in a web browser and it hasn't asked me for a username or password ever. Which is good, because I don't remember setting one up. Which is fine for playing around, but eventually I'm gonna want to use the API to control the house from outside, so there's gonna be a need for authentication.

Looking through the forums, I see *references* to authentication, but no indication of how to actually enable it. Any ideas?

Hi,
Go to "configure" -> "Maintenances and Updates" -> "HTTP Settings" / "Password protected access".
You just have to "Set" the password. The user is "admin".
Bye
