Hi Gene,

i bought a NorthQ Power Meter 9021 and i try to integrate it into homegenie.
The installation process worked fine and i have the zwave node on the groups and modules page.

But now i don't know how to bring the zwave power consumption counter from the zwave device to the homegenie statistic.
On the Analyze page i can't select the zwave device for power monitoring.

Any suggestion would be fine.

Best Regards.

Sebastian

Right now, HomeGenie r466 update is available for download.
If you update, you can enable the Meter Watt poll program from Automation->ZWave section.

Cheers,
g.

Hi Gene,

thanks for the reply but i have some trouble to integrate it.
It seems that NorthQ NQ 9021 does not support
Code: [Select]
Basic.Get and
Code: [Select]
Meter.Get
I tried to write my own application like this. I hope you can review the application and give me some hints to use the hg energy monitor as well as possible

Thanks in advance

Hi Sebastian, I've just added my NorthQ energy meter to HomeGenie and wondered if you got your code to work?
If so how did you make it work and do you have any hints or tips please?

Kind regards
Martin

Hi Martin, i am very sorry for a long delay to answer you but i was disabled by some personal topics.
I am very sorry but i tried a long time to implement NorthQ Meter into HomeGenie but until today there was no solution to use the metering from homegenie in a way which make sense. The plugin works well and also the data from NorthQ Meter can be read correctly from the device. I calculated the received data a lot of times in to kwh and it is correct. But i do not know exactly, how to bring the data in correct format to homegenie metering feature. Did you find a solution for that at the meanwhile?
