Title: BloomSky Weather Station
Post by: kevin1 on March 29, 2016, 12:54:07 PM
Collecting information on the BloomSky (https://www.bloomsky.com/) weather station here.  I ordered one but haven't received it yet.  They have a web based API and it can connect to a WeatherUnderground personal weather station.

- Connect (https://bloomsky.desk.com/customer/portal/questions/16180746-weather-underground-this-pws-is-not-reporting-) BloomSky to WeatherUnderground (look for post from Matt).  Then access camera (https://bloomsky.desk.com/customer/portal/questions/16154623-how-to-access-camera-) via WeatherUnderground.

- API (http://weatherlution.com/bloomsky-api/),  Debug (https://bloomsky.desk.com/customer/portal/articles/2338420-how-to-use-debug-tool) tool

- IFTTT (https://ifttt.com/bloomsky)

- Groovy / SmartThings code example (https://github.com/tslagle13/SmartThingsPersonal/blob/master/devicetypes/tslagle13/bloomsky.src/bloomsky.groovy)

I just got my Bloomsky set up this week.  It's ok, but probably not worth close to the $300 they claim.  It's worth the $20 we paid for the recent discount.  I got mine set up on WU, but have not yet got the camera working.  I didn't know about debug mode before, so that might be a nice option to decouple the thing from the cloud service if I choose to go that way.
