I was writing a c# programming, its running, but I now can't get in to edit it!! Just get the error above.
-
Hi,
Wooof, never append for me.
Did you try to disable it ?
-
The source code is saved in programs.xml file.
Otherwise in the first screen of program selected, you can export it. Have you try ? It's generate an *.hgx file
-
Thanks will look at the XML file.
Casnt disable it, doesn't seem to work. Can't get to the first screen to export.
-
Ok, thanks for the tips, got the program data out of the XML file.
Removing it from here didnt help either, so Created a hgx file with it, and did a factory reset, and then re-imported it and back working again.
-
short lived, add program back in, and it runs then same problem again!
Unable to edit any program either..
-
Hi,
Can you send the hgx please ?
-
I cant really share the HGX as the protocol used in the code within is under an NDA with a vendor.
What I can say is I am doing nothing complicated, I may try downgrading the version back to 49x and see what happens.
-
Remember that HG is a free software and Gene put his src code on line without NDA
-
I'm well aware of that, That doesn't mean I have to share everything I do though.
Also if you read what I wrote I said it has the vendor's protocol within in which I am under NDA with them for this, and I am not about to break an NDA.
Anyway I have fixed this with a re-install, not sure why but it all seems to be ok now.

Had the same issue, on a different box, seems to be after upgrading to r500, however I cant say with certainty what the prior version was.
This is a different module, I was editing so I don't believe its related. Does homegenie store a history or anything that could have issues with a high number of edits / compiles as I have done a lot of amendments throughout the course of the day.

was previously r496 - just found the .deb file, as I was uninstalling.
-
Still having issues.. session log attached when launching homegenie.exe manually (on raspbian, mono version 3.2.8
-
Hi Davis,
Can you try to upgrade your RasPI following that procedure :

Like that you will work with the last mono environment.

Thanks,
I had previously tried getting mono updated, and went to a 4.something release. .but then had errors installing HG.. I will try the method documented there and see how I get on.
Thanks :)
