Hi,
I am building a new home and I am searching for a good hardware design, right now I have Raspberry pi and several Arduino's, for each Arduino I added a Ethernet shield that will speak with the Raspberry pi web server. Now I want all the features that this home genie offer, I was searching for a build in microphone that will be inside the wall but I don't know how to do it, maybe you can help me and suggest me your idea regarding building new home from scratch, with voice recognition that will be hands free like the digital assistant in Iron man.
