I don't see anything in "read me first" about windows phone app. Did you plan to stop it ?
I use it and i recently added on HG a new sensor (a second one) "aeon labs aeotec multisensor" and when i try the windows phone access. But this sensor is going buging the group which is belong to.
I try to isolate this sensor in a standalone group, but the group failed and the app say "failed connecting to homegenie" --> "retry" --> "retry", the group show up but it is empty.
The configuration of this second sensor is the same.
