Title: MQTT Publish and Subscribe to Different Topics

It appears as though HG publishes and subscribes to only one topic. Is there an easy way to publish to one topic and subscribe to another? The idea being HG and MQTT connected devices won't have to read their own posted comments. Is this a good idea? Should this feature be added to a future HG release? I think it would be one additional field and a minor code tweak.

Eric,
Did you get this to work?  I had the same problem when subscribing to a topic and then in another program connecting to the same MQTT server and publishing.

Maybe the publish "connect" removes the subscribe "connect"

I have not tried in a year, so, no. The reply here did not make sense to me and I have been working on other projects since. Just never got back to it but I'd like to soon.
