Title: Ping Me at Home

Hello There,

I wanted to say that HomeGenie is fantastic! i just have a question about configuring Ping Me at Home. Am i safe in assuming it searches the lan for an address, such as your phone, and then an event can be created once it detects this?

if this is the case how do i set this up using the wizard? I tried entering all kinds of things but im pretty sure im doing it wrong.

Hi Robby,

it tried it just once, but I am pretty sure it was like

- create new Wizard script in e.g. Scenes
Program Conditions
- add condition

from the box showing up select
- Programs
- Ping Me at Home
- PingMe.atHome
- Equals
- enter value 1

Now you need to tell HG want you want to do once that condition raised, in this case Ping to the given IP Address in Ping Me at Home was successful ==1

Program Instructions
- Add instruction
.....

Thank you for your reply! i found my mistake. The Alarm System was not armed. i have it working now!
