Just getting started with hg. Have it running on win7 laptop with some old x10 modules that have been sitting in a box for 10+ years.  I can toggle x10 light modules via android and PC... Yay!!!!.  Now  I want to get email when my x10 dm10a motion sensor triggers. I can't figure out how to do this.

I set up my email server info but there is no way to test it so far.... Please add a "test email" button so the server can be verified separately from the other hg settings.

In hg logs I see when my a1 or a2 x10 lights are toggled via small kr22a remote. I do not see when the dm10a triggers though.  I have old x10 cm11 computer interface and a separate rr01 wireless interface.  I know this path works because the dm10a will detect motion and cause my "robodog" module to bark.  Thanks!!!! ::)

The DM10A is an RF unit.   The CM11A responds to commands on the power line only.  Therefore, you cannot receive the RF commands that the DM10A sends out.   The CM15, I believe is both a power line and an RF interface.

Please be aware that X10 has two standards, the home control and the security.   The data formats are somewhat different.  Some pieces of equipment can see the home control data, but ignores the security data.   For example,  my people have added a TM751 to the system thinking that this would add RF.  However, TM751 filters the data and only passes the home control data that matches the house code that it is set to.  I believe that your DM10 is sending the security format.
