Can anyone summarize the status of Zigbee support? Any plans or works in progress? I don't want to invest further into z-wave.

Can HG currently control general Zigbee devices via the Hue or Wink or other hub controller? Any guidelines if this is possible?

Thanks, Dave

Apparently the latest Philips Hue firmware is blocking all 3rd party light bulbs according to comments on Amazon.

Even more reason to support Zigbee devices without needing a Hue hub.

They've gone back on that, all third part bulbs should be working again:

Thx mvdarend.

A perfect example of how Apple is evil.

Do you know if other Zigbee devices can be controlled via the Hue controller?

not sure about this.... I think hue hub only implements zigbee light link for bulbs. are you trying to control other zigbee  devices?  I too have been wanting zigbee support in HG. I finally caved and decided to go with zwave devices now since I eventually have found some reasonably priced ones.  also I see lots of complaints about the Cree and Philips zigbee light link bulbs on smartthings forums.
