Hi,
I use HG for alarm system, but with full z-wave devices. So my alarm can be "stop" with a simple jamming system.
I think of requesting one or two z-wave devices periodically (some without battery ;)) and after 2 failed, to join this device to "alarm" the system. What do you think ?

Limitation: My z-wave siren can't be join to in this case ;) (but i can try to send a sms or at least an email). So i probably need to find a non z-wave siren !

Bye

The only problem I see with implementing this is that this is not how Z-Wave works.
You can request a 'status' from a device tho... for example, check the battery level, or current device state (on/off, ect_ that would have the effect that you want. As for the siren, if you build an Arduino based system, you could add a hard-wired siren.
