I have a Z-Stick gen 5 that I plugged into my RPI.

What is my first step getting this thing recognized by HG?   I see that HG wants to know what port the interface is on at the very least...  do I need to do any sort of install at the OS level first?

Thanks!!!

Kevin...  slowly moving away from X10...

What a downer.  The above post,  according to google translate is about fertilizer... not -z-wave  :(

Typically, the controller under Raspbian is plug-and-play and appears as /dev/ttyACM0.

Hey Thanks!  That is good to know.  As soon as I find a good deal on a ZWAVE wall switch or panic button I will get back on this project!
