Title: Different Node IDs for same device
Post by: Ossi_Jr on April 10, 2015, 10:32:08 AM
I am not sure if this really is a bug. So please move the thread if it is not correctly started in "Bug reporting".

I have a very simple network currently. I am using a Raspberry with the Razberry module and a Fibaro smart plug. When I first added the plug to the network it expectedly got the node ID 2 (as the controller already has 1).
Because of some testing I needed to exclude and re-include the smart plug into the network. When I did that, it got the node ID 3. I did it a second time and got the node ID 4 associated.

Is that a correct behaviour? Eventually it means, I have two nodes in my network, node 1 and node 4. But no node 2 or 3. I think it is just some styling issue over here, but I am wondering if that is the correct behaviour.

Cheers and thanks

Hi,
I have the same behavior with my zstick. Perhaps, it will use the empty ID when all the ID are already in use ...
Bye

Yes me too.. Is a problem of open zwave. Domoticz has the same problem.

Reset of stick is buggy I think
