Title: moving from one platform to another

I have HG running on a Win7/atom platform and would like to move over to a raspberry pi.  I'm pretty sure that simply exporting the Win7 configuration (hardware dependencies) and importing them on the raspi won't work.  How to best handle this, in general.

Under maintenance you can use the backup utility on your source platform and then use the same utility to restore on your target.  I have not tried this in some time, but I was able to move from RPi to Windows XP for testing.
