Title: Control Popup for Module Fibaro RGBW
Post by: dani on February 06, 2014, 07:37:50 PM
Hello Gene,

Here I join a new custom control for the fibaro module RGBWM-441 called "Fibaro RGBW".

Zip Include 4 Files :
fibarorgbw.html -> Popup control for the module
fibarorgbw.json
1001-Fibaro_RGBW.hgx -> Scenario in C# Sharp to include in the scenario group "Devices and Things"
Knowledge Module Fibaro RGBWM-441 -> Text file of my Knowledge about this module

You can include this in your project if you want.

For work correctly, I had to add manually VirtualModule attached to the multiInstance ZWave Node. Because as I told you last week in sourceforge they are not automatically inserted  in the file modules.xml.

Best regards.

Thank you for sharing this  :)

Your plugin will be available in next hg release under the "Devices and Things" section as a system program (id < 1000).

I just changed the location of the widget to "zwave/fibaro/rgbw" .
Also added your notes, as a comment in the trigger code.

Hi, Gene

I am running HomeGenie latest version (No updates available). I don't see any RGBW option under "Devices and Things".

Only 4 options:
   Favourites Links
   Generic IP Camera
   Philips Hue Bridge
   Serial Port I/O Test

Am I looking in the right place? Need to add Fibaro RGBW.

Thanks in advance,

Eugene

Hi,

I have updated to version 1.00 beta r416 and I can now see under the "Devices and Things" section as a system program (id < 1000).

I then Add Node and it picks up 2 entries only, then I go to Group and Modules, Lights, then I can only add one device (dimmer or switch)? How can I have control over all the colour channels? What must the settings be?

Kind regards,

Eugene du Toit

Hi,

I have also managed to get it working over the weekend.

I upgraded to R416, rebooted. Then I also picked up on what I think the reason was: I had 2 plug-ins for Fibaro RGBW, in 2 different places. I noted a refence from Gene re PID1000, so I disabled the one that was PID. I should have left PID503 running and removed the manually added PID1000.

I can now control colours and use manual switches.

Thanks, so much.

Kind regards,

Eugene
