Hi Gene,

I just updated to R345 on raspian image (I always do a sudo apt-get update before).

Installation runs fine and seems to work (just some minutes online), controlling X10 devices seems to be slower than before, I keep testing, but I'd like to point you to the following already right now:

- X10 interface enabled on USB
- LIRC enabled
- UPNP enabled

after reboot

- X10 and LIRC dark grey, UPNP disappeared. X10 lost the HouseCodes and interface. Putting X10 back to USB and do a disable/enable gets it back to working
- same to LIRC disable/enable after reboot -> back to working

- UPNP I am not getting this back to working since the first reboot - it does not show up as an icon nor does it function :-(

Can I get you any additional information?

Thanks
Cheers
Jens

HG r345 image is based on raspbian 2014-01-07 and it has been installed hg using the same procedure you are describing here.
Pheraps you can try a

sudo dpkg --remove homegenie

before installing the new one.

No, unfortunate this did not fix the problem.

During the second try I figured out that there maybe a link to the config I am restoring.

If I reboot the clean install R345 it works after reboot.

Once I installed the backup from my R336 installation I have again the scenario as described earlier.

Does that give a clue?

Cheers

systemconfig.xml file has got some changes. You have two options:

1) reconfigure your hg system from scratch
2) update the systemconfig.xml file in your backup adding missing entries from the new one
