Title: How do I connect a zwave switch to a zwave dimmer

I am completely new to HomeGenie and have just finished the install. I am trying to get some lights working.

I have a Merten Dimmer which is setup and works. I can turn it on/off and set a dimming percentage. So far so good.

Now I want my Merten Switch to be able to control the dimmer (on/off/dimming). I have added it as a switch and hit the setup button and that is as far as have come. See screenshot.

1) When I push the physical button (2 channel switch) The switch does not change state to on.
2) I have no idea how to tie the switch to the dimmer.

Please help a newbie.

Hi,
Did you have a pop-up in HG web interface when you push your physical button ?
In case "yes", you can use the switch to switch on/off you light by using a script 'wizard, c#, javascript, ...).

Unfortunately I do not get a pop-up. It does not seem to register any change at all.

It is a 2 channel switch is also recognized within the setup page, but from the dashboard it looks like a single channel switch.

Can anyone help just getting it to work with the physical switch? Do I need to do any config of the switch and what should be set under associations in the setup page?
